The other side of the big Island

A journey back in time to the days of the troubadours and of hunting parties in the Occitanian woods. The virtuoso flautist and bagpipe-player François Lazarevitch founded the ensemble Les Musiciens de Saint-Julien in 2005, motivated by his love of traditional French songs and early music. These musicians opt for historically informed performance on violin, musette, harp, flute, baroque guitar, theorbo, and bass viol (viola da gamba). For their BOZAR performance, they are joined by a dancer.
