‘Les couleurs de la voix’

As a teacher, choir leader and singer, Jo Lesco has been teaching and exploring different vocal methods for more than 30 years. She organises numerous workshops and polyphonic singing courses (AKDT, Rpé etc.) and leads the Bô Soley choirs for the La Monnaie project “Un pont entre deux mondes”. She will host the Couleurs de la Voix (Colours of the voice) workshop, which will enable participants to better understand the various vocal mechanisms and experiment with different sound colours: sombre, clear, husky, brilliant (nasal or oral twang), head voice and chest voice, by singing polyphonic songs from around the world.
