‘Lecture by Christ & Gantenbein’

Founded in 1998, the Basle-based firm Christ & Gantenbein has build up a constant body of work. The extension of Kunstmuseum Basel and the renovation and extension of the Landesmuseum Zürich are in the spotlight in most specialist journals at the moment. The firm also works on office and housing projects as well as taking on more marginal commissions, bordering on installation, monument or sculpture.

Alongside this flourishing practice, the two associates have always been involved in teaching in Basel, Mendrisio, Zürich and Harvard GSD. They have also published several review collections under the title 'Typology', which represents a systematic and subjective inventory of architectural works throughout the world. In its April edition, A+ dives into the myseries of their multifaceted practice and invites one of the associates to the Centre for Fine Arts to give a lecture on April 18.

The lecture by Emanuel Christ will exceptionally take place at 7 PM and will be followed by a late night opening of their furniture exhibition in the Maniera gallery.
