AMUNT – Architekten Martenson Und Nagel Theissen – is a German architectural firm based in Aachen and Stuttgart. Björn Martenson, Sonja Nagel and Jan Theissen founded it in 2009. These three architects work on a precise and rigorous architecture, mainly consisting of single-family housing projects, extensions and interior reorganisation. Their architecture reflects a constant concern for the environment in which they work.
Their practice has received several awards and been highlighted in exhibitions, including Reduce/Reuse/Recycle at the 2012 Venice Biennale of Architecture, which showcased their extension of the Schreber house, a small 1920s miner’s house in Aachen.
A+ Architecture in Belgium and BOZAR are pleased to invite this young German practice to give a lecture at the Centre for Fine Arts, Brussels on 5 December 2019.
