Since its creation in Horrues (Soignies) in 1990, the children’s choir from Hainaut is led by Géraldine Focant and accompanied on the keyboard by David Dodelé. This ensemble of equal voices is made up of 32 choristers aged between 11 and 16. The choir moves between early music and French variety, by way of world music, musicals and Anglo-Saxon music. Every year, its young members go on a musical camp in Belgium or go on tour abroad. Since 2015, the choir has participated in the European project Voix d’Enfants – Espace scénique. It is affiliated to the Fédérations À Cœur Joie and Pueri Cantores, and regularly welcomes children’s choirs from abroad.
