In the presence of the director

In the presence of Pierre Creton and Robert Bonamy (Université Grenoble Alpes, De l’Incidence Éditeur).

Robert, Simon and Sophie live on the edge of the English Channel their daily routines. Nessim will enter their lives, followed by children, as the political situation in Africa threatens. All crossed the Mediterranean to take refuge in France. They will live together in Normandy for a beautiful summer.

Pierre Creton (1966) is a French agricultural worker, artist and director. "For almost twenty years, he has been working away from the bright lights of Paris, away from the majority modes of production and distribution, labels of all kinds. Pierre Creton lives and works in Pays-de-Caux: he makes movies, draws, produces honey, cultivates his garden. The time of art and that of life are one. Work, meetings, readings lead to films, which in turn sculpt the existence, open to experiences, territories that give rise to other films. To work as a filmmaker is to live in a world made livable by the invention of communities of thoughts, desires and friendships, where peasants, writers and filmmakers, the living and the dead, the near and the far, live side by side. » (Cyril Neyrat)
