Laurie Anderson is one of America's best-known creative pioneers. Her 1982 debut album Big Science marked the start of an impressive career in avant-garde music, and the inspiration for Ars Musica theme edition 2022. Laurie Anderson will join the Brussels Philharmonic for this concert in Bozar. Based on Amelia Earhart’s pilot log from her historic attempt to circumnavigate the world in 1937, Songs for Amelia Earhart is a panoramic work that features Earhart’s words and Anderson’s signature work with song structure.
