‘Las ultimas composiciones de Violeta Parra’

Violeta Parra (1917-1967) was one of the greatest names in Chilean song. She amassed popular and traditional songs from her country which she then alternated with personal creations, working constantly to make them known throughout the world. The recital by her grandchildren at BOZAR is dedicated to her final compositions, released shortly before her tragic death. With this album-testament, she leaves behind a magnificent body of work. Moving songs like Volver a los 17 and Gracias a la vida, which have been performed by popular artists such as Joan Baez, U2, Mercedes Sosa, María Farantoúri and Florent Pagny.
