Manuela and Olmo meet up one day for a drink. It’s been years. She hands him a letter, a letter that he had written her fifteen years before, when they were teenagers and experienced their first love. From this romantic premise, La Reconquista is really a film in search of time; about time lost and time regained; about what we remember about ourselves and what we don't remember. Over one night in Madrid, to the beat of music and cocktails, Manuela and Olmo will reunite in a future that they had promised one another in a distant past.
