‘La Divina Armonia’

Lorenzo Ghielmi's two CDs of Handel organ concertos with his Divina Armonia are true pearls, which established the ensemble as one of the most expressive and conscientious baroque orchestras of our day. Handel used to play his organ concertos in the intervals during performances of his operas. Many in those London audiences actually came to the theatre in order to hear the concertos. The Italians' programme also includes concerti grossi by Corelli.
