‘Komiek/Freak’

In this monologue Maarten Westra Hoekzema enters the skin of a comedian who does anything for a laugh. With Stef Lernous as coach he presents a convincing comedian who works day and night in search of perfection. Because nothing is as painful as an audience who are not laughing. The Comedian progressively becomes a Freak when he can no longer leave anything to chance. If there is just one person who is not laughing, then the performance is a failure.
