The 35th Anniversary
The Japanese percussion group Kodō will be performing at BOZAR as part of its world tour. Kodō means both "children of the drum" and "heartbeats". On their taiko, traditional drums in various sizes, they beat out furious rhythms, at times in unison, at times with a number of rhythms simultaneously. The combination of these sounds and the precision of their choreography is stunning as they convey a message of harmony and universal peace.
