Ensemble KL-EX (Klangexperimente) was founded in 2018 by three composers from the German-speaking community: Paul Pankert, Christian Klinkenberg and Wolfgang Delnui. A relentless search for new and unusual sounds propels this trio. In their numerous innovative projects, the ensemble cannot be confined to one genre. KL-EX plays electronic and improvised music, is actively involved in music theatre and does not shy away from mixed media. As true experimentalists, the composers question and challenge musical traditions and search for new forms of communication. KL-EX fearlessly opens our ears with new work during the Belgian Music Days.
