‘The Khoury Project’

The Khoury Project,  founded by three Jordanian brothers of Palestinian origin,  combines various musical traditions to create an original mixture full of contrasts. The music erupts in an atmosphere of overwhelming energy before being transformed into a meditative sense of peace. Cheerful while being profound, powerful while being delicate. The combination of violin, oud and qanun, double bass and percussion can hardly be described as run-of-the-mill. This variety of sounds is also featured on the new album Revelation in the form of an original and emotive language that leaves no-one unaffected.
