Since Justin Taylor walked away with the top prizes at the prestigious Musica Antiqua competition in 2015, the young harpsichordist has been seemingly unstoppable. In this concert, Taylor brings together two musical worlds by juxtaposing Baroque sonatas by Domenico Scarlatti with György Ligeti's impressive 20th-century Continuum. With his extremely well-crafted but rapid-fire playing technique and sense of lyrical connection, Taylor is the ideal person for this adventurous programme, which he recorded in 2018 and which was warmly received by the press.
