Tom Goossens and DESCHONECOMPANIE revisit Handel’s famous opera Semele, transforming it into a magical performance filled with light, music, and emotions, specially designed for young audiences.

In this story, Jupo, the king of the gods, loves Semele, a curious and dreamy girl. But Junon, Jupo’s wife, is jealous… She decides to disguise herself and play a trick on Semele. Slowly but surely, the game turns serious, and a great disaster looms!

With only three actors and a lute, DESCHONECOMPANIE turns this myth into a captivating adventure about playing together and being alone, about shining and letting others shine, about light and music.

An opera like no other, full of surprises and emotions, for children aged 4 to 7—and for everyone who loves to dream through music!
