Yossif Ivanov
Yossif Ivanov is a phenomenal violinist. At the age of five, he reached the final in the Young Soloists programme. At the age of 19, he took second prize in the Queen Elisabeth Competition, the highest place ever achieved by a Belgian at this prestigious event.  At just 22 years of age he was appointed professor at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels. The first episode in the television series  " Jeunes Solistes, Grands Destins " relates Yossif’s fascinating story. It was his father who introduced him to the violin, himself concertmaster with the DeFilharmonie orchestra (the Royal Flemish Philharmonic).

Céline Scheen
Céline Scheen is a soprano. She specializes in so-called “ancient” music. Céline reached the final of the Young Soloists programme in 1992. She went on to sing most notably at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie. The second programme in the " Jeunes Solistes, Grands Destins " television series explores the life of Céline and reveals a personality that is both engaging and touching.

The series ‘Jeunes Solistes, Grands Destins’ (RTBF): More than just a portrait of top level musicians, this documentary series reveals the human being behind the exceptional musician.
