One of the most famous big bands in the world is coming to BOZAR. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra from New York has championed the big band and the big band repertoire in jazz for many years. Its artistic leader is possibly even more famous. The much-lauded trumpet player and composer Wynton Marsalis holds nine Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for Music in his collection. Since the eighties he has become almost synonymous with American traditional jazz. The three-day residency at BOZAR kicks off with a tribute to the jazz greats.
