Camarote - Cultura en Movimiento
“Tiempo is an album on which I want to hang on to the present, to honour life and the time I have on this planet”, explains the French-Cuban bewitching singer, guitarist and composer about her latest release, which presents ten originals and a cover of Nougaro’s emblematic Bidonville. She also pays homage to her great inspirator Frida Kahlo and, through her, to all women. Tiempo is thus a call to think, to introspect, to sincerely reconnect with the present moment. In order to achieve this goal, González makes us travel in a colored, dancing and warm universe, full of jazzy, Afro-Latin and Caribbean sounds, without ever losing sight of her homeland: Cuba.
