IncarNations. African Art As Philosophy

This summer and autumn BOZAR is again given over to guided, interactive tours for associations. The doors are open to adults, teenagers and the over 9s, until 6 October!

On our sense-arousing, interactive tour, discover the “IncarNations – African Art as Philosophy” exhibition through art pieces of past and present, on loan from Sindika Dokolo’s impressive African art collection. Diversity, identity and spirituality are the themes uncovered. Based on your own experience and perceptions, our exhibition’s dynamic guides steer you through the images, sound and light. This is an exciting experience which brings us together to talk, think, dream and do!

Works by Sammy Baloji, Nick, Cave, Lubaina Himid, William Kentridge, Tracey Rose, Wangechi Mutu, Otobong Nkanga, Yinka Shonibare CBE, Pascale Marthine Tayou, Kehinde Wiley,…
