Travel to the court of the Emperor Charles V in the company of the InAlto ensemble. Under the leadership of famous cornetto player Lambert Colson, the ensemble immerses you in some of the most beautiful polyphonic music of the Renaissance. As opposed to "basse musique" that includes instruments with a soft sound, such as the flute, harp and viola, "haute musique" refers to the repertoire of wind instrument ensembles, including sackbuts, dulcians and cornettos. With this ideal line-up for an open-air performance, the InAlto ensemble takes advantage of the exquisite courtyard of the Coudenberg Museum to take you back in time to the Brussels of the Renaissance.
