‘Imagineers in the Underworld’

The title of Imagineer was a name given to the Stenographers of Disneyland, by Walt Disney himself. In this series of screenings and performances the title of Imagineer is cast in the direction of "unheard masters of reverie" who have constructed movie sets, sculptures, paintings, and videos to represent their fantastic and colorful view of reality. This series of 4 evenings, curated by musician Spencer Clark, illuminates the depth of non-academic Fantasy Art and its practitioners in the 20th and 21st Century.

Spencer Clark is a musician playing under various aliases such as Monopoly Child Star Searchers, Typhonian Highlife and Fourth World Magazine. His work evokes tropical vibes and Renaissance keyboard music. Together with James Ferraro, he formed the legendary duo The Skaters.
