‘II - Vlada Senkova’

Nastya, Sasha and Kristina are 16 years old. They go together to school in a Belarusian town and live ordinary teenager lives, with the usual problems and dreams. Their school is a place of strict discipline, and it is hard being different from everyone else. But one day this small world will be shocked over the news which will make all the fears and prejudices revealed.

Vlada Senkova was born in Vitebsk, Belarus. She graduated from the Belarusian State University in 2010 and from the Minsk Film School with a specialty in film directing and screenwriting in 2013. Her full-length feature film The Count in Oranges (2015) was shown in the 38th Moscow IFF’s official programme and won awards at the festivals in Cottbus and Minsk.
