Beethoven Sonatas VI
The young German-Russian pianist Igor Levit, to whom BOZAR has been devoting a "portrait" since last season, is continuing his cycle of Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas; a huge undertaking for one of the highlights of the repertoire for solo piano, covering a period of 27 years (from 1795 to 1822) and comprising 32 sonatas. For this second concert of this season, he treats us to four sonatas including the ever-popular Moonlight Sonata.
