‘As I Open My Eyes - Leyla Bouzid’

Tunis, the summer of 2010, a few months before the revolution. Farah, 18, graduates from school and her family already imagines her becoming a doctor. But she does not see things the same way. She sings in a rock band with very outspoken social and political views. She’s thrilled, gets drunk and discovers love and nightlife against the will of Hayet, her mother who knows Tunisia and its prohibitions.
