Olga is a lonely lesbian in 1970s Czechoslovakia. She leaves her cold-hearted family but can’t find her place in a society that rejects her. At 22 years of age, she decides to get her revenge.
Tomáš Weinreb & Petr Kazda
Tomas Weinreb (b. 1982) and Petr Kazda (b. 1978) both graduated from the Independent Film College in Pisek and the Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts (FAMU) in Prague, respectively from the department of documentary filmmaking and scriptwriting. They have worked together on several fictional shorts and documentary films and won awards at numerous international film festivals: Playoff (2012), The Scientist (2012), Many Men and Many Women (2009), I and Me (2009), Everything Is Crap (2009), Jan (2007), Eclipse (2006) and Antero (2003). I, Olga Hepnarová is their first feature-length film.
