The members of the NOB’s horn section present a varied programme of music, ranging from the medieval composer Guillaume De Machaut, master of “ars nova”, to work by the contemporary US composers Gunther Schuller and Kerry Turner, as well as by Richard Wagner, in whose music the instrument plays such a key role. A fascinating way to pass a lunchtime break.
