A journey of self-discovery

How can you cultivate close relationships through the lens of a camera? That’s something you will find out on the International Day of Happiness. The British-Dutch photographer Jimmy Nelson explains how during his travels in Tibet he made friends with the local population by taking photos. Together you go in search of the happiness that is found in the little things. The International Day of Happiness reminds us of the importance of concepts such as happiness and wellbeing in the international debate about sustainable development. After all, happiness isn’t a luxury but a basic human right. This event is a coproduction with UNRIC (United Nations Regional Information Centre) and is supported by the International School of Protocol and Diplomacy (ISPD).
