Exil
After experimenting with new instrumental approaches with IRCAM, and becoming a resident of the Villa Medici in Rome, Juan Arroyo is currently composer in residence at the National Symphony Orchestra of Peru. Juan Arroyo's creation, commissioned by Ars Musica, in collaboration with the vocal ensemble Grunik and the ensemble Fractales, creates a bridge between Czech vocal tradition and contemporary language. This concert also offers audiences the opportunity to discover the compositions of Mikel Urquiza, a young Spanish composer who was also a resident at the Villa Medici, and several of whose works have been performed by prestigious ensembles such as the Trio Catch and the Diotima Quartet.
