New Year is the most important holiday in Chinese culture. It is celebrated over a period of several days at new moon in January or February each year, with family visits, delicious food – and music, of course! That is why the China Conservatory of Music Traditional Orchestra is inviting you to a big New Year’s concert at Bozar to welcome in the Year of the Snake. The members of the orchestra, which consists of an ensemble of traditional instruments and a choir, are highly acclaimed musicians both in China and internationally. They will introduce you to a traditional repertoire covering an astonishing 3000 years of music history. Experience China’s magnificent music and celebrate the country’s rich and lively culture.
