Maestro Giovanni Allevi is one of the main uncontaminated and pure composers of the current international panorama. He is a composer, a conductor and a pianist. He became a social phenomenon, the enfant terrible who has shocked the musical Academia with his extraordinary talent and charisma. His compositions outline the canons of a new type of “Contemporary Classical Music,” through a learned and emotional language. This language distances itself from the dodecaphonic, minimalist experience to establish a new European rhythmic and melodic intensity based on the forms of classical tradition blended with the sounds of today.
