‘Gender Equality: Picture It’

Be amazed by colourful comics and cartoons about the position of women in society. Young comic strip artists from all over Europe have been working on gender equality issues; they have put their ideas on paper for Gender Equality: Picture It!, a competition organised by UN Women jointly with the European Commission, the Belgian Development cooperation, and UNRIC in spring 2015. The work of the winners and finalists, selected by a renowned jury, is on display at the Center of Fine Arts. The exhibition is part of UN Women’s global Beijing+20 campaign Empowering Women – Empowering Humanity: Picture It! celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Fourth World Conference on Women held in Beijing in 1995.
