‘Geister Duo’

This piano duo treats you to a magical moment on Sunday with a truly enchanting repertoire. Whether it's the young magician's apprentice who uses spells to try and tame his broom and bucket in Dukas’ L'apprenti sorcier, Sleeping Beauty, Tom Thumb and other fairytale figures from Ravel's Ma mère l'Oye, or the trolls and witches in Grieg's Peer Gynt: the Geister Duo brings every one of them to life in sound. David Salmon and Manuel Vieillard do not consider themselves soloists who meet only for a concert, but as a true chamber-music ensemble. They have also received plenty of praise for their sound symbiosis and are one of the most promising duos of their generation.
