Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège

‘The Four Elements’

31 Jan.'25

Water

In this first chapter of participatory concerts devoted to the four elements, immerse yourselves in a repertoire of works inspired by the purest of elements. François Vaiana and Sterre de Raedt will help you navigate the notes played by the Liège Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’s musicians. An installation by lighting artist Nele Fack will immerse the audience in an aquatic atmosphere.
Descend waterfalls, cross torrents, contemplate lakes and listen to the sound of trickling raindrops... Videos and an educational pack are available in advance to help you prepare and learn the songs and gestures to accompany the orchestra. Get ready for a whirlwind of sounds, images and emotions!

 Pupils will:

✓ Associate music with emotions through the metaphor of nature

✓ Enjoy an emotional experience as a group

✓ Gain familiarity with an orchestra in a large concert hall
