‘Focus on Bulgaria’

Bulgaria takes over the presidency of the Council of the European Union for the first time from January 1st to June 30th 2018. The Balkan nation on the Black Sea coast joined the European Union in 2007.

From February to the end of April, BOZAR will be showing Nedko Solakov’s video installation Some Bulgarians, in which he asks six of his most creative compatriots why they live in Bulgaria (or return there from time to time). In addition to the official opening concert on February 1st, the Balkan Trafik festival will also focus on Bulgaria (20.04 – 22.04).
