‘Finale SUPERNOVA’

SUPERNOVA is an initiative by several partners from the classical music sector to support young, professional chamber music ensembles. Every year, experienced programme makers select two Belgian chamber music ensembles and call them ‘Supernovas’. This is a motivational prize that offers name recognition and performance opportunities. Supernovas get media attention from Klara and Musiq’3 as well as a Belgian concert tour.
In the finals of SUPERNOVA 2020, four promising chamber music ensembles each present themselves with a programme of 30 minutes: Duo Eidos (Géraldine Clément, Thomas Waelbroeck), Trio Aries (Alice Van Leuven, Paul Heyman, Wouter Valvekens), Pianoduo Mimese (Hiu-Man Chan, Tim Mulleman) and the Desguin Kwartet. The public decides which chamber music ensemble will get the audience prize.
