‘Fabian Fiorini meets….’

This season, BOZAR plays host to some unusual encounters involving homegrown talent. In this concert, the effervescent pianist Fabian Fiorini meets trumpet player Jean-Paul Estiévenart and double bassist Sam Gerstmans. Fiorini is no stranger to the jazz scene, and is something of a musical jack-of-all-trades. In addition to his performing abilities, he also excels at composition and arrangement. It’s not surprising that this versatile musical talent is in great demand, and he’s not afraid to work with the likes of the Ictus Ensemble, Aka Moon, Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker, l’Ensemble intercontemporain or to compose the set work for the Queen Elisabeth Piano Competition 2016. We’re excited to hear what he has planned for our fantastic Henry Le Boeuf Hall, with world-class musicians like Estiévenart and Gerstmans!
