‘Extra! Subwater Music’

If you’re coming to the festival this year, don’t forget to pack your swimsuit ! Cutting-edge musician and fanatical swimmer Romeo Poirier is inviting festival-goers at Nuits Sonores to experience his music in unprecedented surroundings, with his live underwater set of ambient and electro at the historic Bains du Centre in the heart of his native Brussels.

With a little help from an amphibious sound system, this project – which was dreamed up several years ago – is finally setting sail, inviting the audience to ride upon waves of synths and dive head-first into a plunge-pool of experimental.

Romeo Poirier has invited two names from the London label Kit Records to join him for this one-off aquatic bonanza: Object Agency (Michael Marshall) and Devon Loch (Richard Greenan).
