‘AN EVENING WITH SENATOR GEORGE MITCHELL AND PRESIDENT EMERITUS HERMAN VAN ROMPUY’

The former American senator George Mitchell has chosen BOZAR for the European launch of his memoirs. The Negotiator: Reflections on an American Life looks back on the exceptional career of the former Majority Leader at the American Senate, who conducted the negotiations for the historical peace process in Northern Ireland and was also the United States Special Envoy for Middle East Peace. Within the context of this event, which is co-organised with DLA Piper, Senator Mitchell and the former President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy will discuss the relations between the European Union and the United States. This conversation will be led by Carrie Budoff Brown, editor-in-chief of Politico and former White House Correspondent to the EU.
