European Lab Brussels is offering two days to take the pulse of the independent media ecosystem, in conjunction with the Sphera network and alongside the European cultural and electronic press. Round tables, workshops, inspiration sessions and meetings will punctuate this major forum for debate dedicated to Europe's independent media scene. The aim of these two days is to highlight the importance of uniting the cause of independent media with that of independent cultural structures, which are facing the same pressures, between the appetite of large private groups, the over-power of Big Tech and political interference.
On 12 October, European Lab is joining forces with the Sphera Network of independent European media to become the Sphera Media Lab. Sphera members as 444 (Hungary), Bulle Media (Belgium), Dinamo (Italy), El Salto (Spain), Ereb (France), Krytyka Polityczna (Poland), Popaganda (Greece), StreetPress (France), VD (Italy) and Arty Farty (France/Belgium) will come together to explore the state of Europe's independent press.
