Bozar’s interactive guided tours emphasise pupils’ personal experience. Francisco de Goya (1746-1828) is famous for his portraits of noblemen and of prominent thinkers of the Spanish Enlightenment and at the same time for his drawings and engravings that denounce the horrors of his time. His work is the thread of the exhibition, in dialogue with that of the generations of artists that followed, including Zuloaga, Gutiérrez Solana, Miró, Picasso, Oteiza and García Rodero, all influenced by his formal and conceptual language.
