Art and movement as a means of emancipation
How can we think of dance, and art in general, as a political space? How can we think of the collective as a space for knowledge and struggle? These questions, posed by Deicy and Teddy Sanches, will lead this conversation. It will also examine the relationship between artists and institutions and look at the mechanisms of emancipation that can be put in place: refusal of assignment and translation, choice of a language specific to the artist, etc.
A discussion between Alesandra Seutin and Olivier Marboeuf, moderated by Dulia Lengema (Ici Sont les Lions bookshop).
