Elle(s), or the difficulty of being a woman today. More than 65 years after the publication of Simone de Beauvoir’s The Second Sex, the denial of gender equality is still firmly rooted in our societies, with all its stereotypes, prejudices and unacceptable gender determination. Sylvie Landuyt, author and director, shares the stage with Jessica Fanhan for a conversational rant between an erratic girl and a crazy mother, set to the musical accompaniment of guitarist Ruggero Catania.
