‘Ellen Ripley’

Nick Edwards is one of the most prolific figures on London’s electronic scene. When he isn’t composing or producing as Ekoplekz, his day job, he is busy juggling his schedule to fit in appearances under his own name, or with side projects such as eMMplekz (with Baron Mordant), Ekoclef (with Bassclef), Ensemble Skalectrik and PLKZFX. His latest incarnation, as one half of Ellen Ripley, has seen Edwards team up with beat assembler Spectre for an avant-garde sonic experiment, with a live set that is as disconcerting as it is captivating.
