‘EIN DEUTSCHES REQUIEM - BRAHMS’

2 Dec.'18
- 18:00

Gala concert on the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the European Union Choir

The European Union Choir invites you to celebrate with them their 60th Anniversary on 2 December 2018 at the Palais des Beaux-Arts.

For this exceptional evening, the European Union Choir will call on the Mosan Orchestral Ensemble and their Conductor, Jean-Pierre Haeck, to present one of the 19th Century masterpieces: Ein deutsches Requiem from Johannes Brahms.

Since their advent in 1958, the objective of the European Union Choir has been to perpetuate the heritage of great classical composers and to
use music as the universal language that it is, as a link between the peoples of Europe and the world. The Choir is composed of 90 singers coming from many different horizons.

Frequently called upon to support European events, the European Union Choir has performed in many European towns and capitals. They have interpreted choral works, from baroque to our contemporaries with major European orchestras.
