Living in a hyperconnected world

In a world dominated by a growing stream of information and messages of all kinds (advertising, emails, SMS…), the quality of the attention we pay to them is crucial because it is becoming an increasingly limited resource. The inaugural session of the “Ecology of Attention: Living in a Hyperconnected World” cycle invites us to refocus our attention on our contemporaries and on the environmental challenges (climatic and social) which pose a threat to our living environment. This is a valuable conference which deals with the crux of the matter by putting the quality of life, the human relationship and its future back at the centre of our preoccupations.
