In the presence of Daphne Patakia

Djam, a young Greek woman, is sent to Istanbul by her uncle Kakourgos, a former sailor who is passionate about rebetiko, to find an elusive part to repair his boat. In Istanbul she meets Avril, a 19-year-old French girl, alone and without money, who came to Turkey as a voluntary worker to help the refugees. Djam, who is generous, insolent, unpredictable and liberated, takes her under her wing on the road to Mytilene. A journey of encounters, music, sharing and hope. Djam is a musical road movie, expansive and eccentric. A joyous, liberating Mediterranean dance to sweep you off your feet.
