A conversation with Lucrecia Martel on her work, moderated by Nadia Lie (KU Leuven) and Sophie Dufays (UCLouvain).

Nadia Lie is specialised on the South American Cinema at the KU Leuven – University of Leuven. She is the author of The Latin American (counter-)road movie and ambivalent modernity (Palgrave – MacMillan, 2017), co-editor of Nouvas Perspectivas sobre la transnacionalidad del cine hispánico (Brill, 2016; con R. Lefere) and contributor to the special number on Nuevo Cinema of CinémAction (Paris, 2015).

Sophie Dufays is specialised in South American Cinema at the Catholic University of Louvain (Louvain-la-Neuve). She is author of El niño en el cine argentino de la postdictadura. Alegoría y nostalgia (Tamesis, 2014) and of Infancia y melancolía en el cine argentino, de La ciénaga a La Rabia (Biblos 2016). She has co-edited the collections of Conozco la canción. Melodías populares en los cines posclásicos de América Latina y Europa (Libraria, 2018, con P. Piedras) and of Connaît-on la chanson ? Usages de la chanson dans les cinémas d’Europe et d’Amérique latine depuis 1960 (Peter Lang, 2019, con D. Nasta y M. Cadalanu).
