‘Demain on déménage - Chantal Akerman’

22 June'24
- 20:30

The screening will take place for free in the Banqueting Room  (and no longer on the roof of Bozar because of the rain) and is in collaboration with Cinematek and the Chantal Akerman Foundation.

After the death of her husband, Catherine returns to her daughter Charlotte. Despite her mother's advice, Charlotte struggles to write her erotic book. The flat soon becomes too crowded for the two women, so it is time to move out and sell. When the tour of visitors is to begin, the story quickly takes a different turn.

Belgian filmmaker Chantal Akerman directed over 40 films and created several art installations. Her best-known work is the avant-garde classic Jeanne Dielman, 23 quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles (1975)

Actress Natacha Régnier will introduce the film in French.

Bozar is hosting a major exhibition dedicated to the work of Chantal Akerman, which can be visited until 21 July.
