‘DEBATE : EMPOWERMENT OF WOMEN IN FASHION’

Find out what goes on behind the scenes in the fashion industry and acquaint yourself with the vision of four powerful women during the Empowerment of Women in Fashion debate. One of the four is the world-famous Diane von Furstenberg. This American fashion designer rose to fame with her iconic wrap dress. She grew up in Brussels and settled in New York after marrying Prince Egon von Fürstenberg. On Thursday 4 June you can see her in person in the Centre for Fine Arts. She will be in the company of the Belgian business woman Anne Chapelle, the activist/actress Rosario Dawson, who acted in the films Sin City and Death Proof, and Abrima Erwiah, the former top manager at Hermès and Bottega Veneta.
